Director, Smart Mobility Initiatives

I’ve been having a lot of conversations lately on the topic of electric vehicle (EV) charging. Friends and family want to convert to driving an EV, but struggle to understand how to fully evaluate the transition. Professionally, I’ve been engaging with many stakeholders on the importance of EV charging and how it impacts consumer behavior. Many people I’ve talked to want to compare EV charging infrastructure progress in the United States with other countries in Europe and Asia.

Let’s just call it like it is. The United States lags significantly behind China and most of Europe in EV charging infrastructure installations. In my latest white paper, I discuss some of the EV charging infrastructure challenges the U.S. faces and provide some recommendations on activities that can help support widespread EV adoption.
