Greetings!

I hope that all of you reading this are healthy and staying safe. Like many of you, our team has been working from home the last few months. As we all continue to adjust to the “new normal”, we are working to finalize our plans to return to our office over the summer and launch new activities and projects that are accelerating our path to cleaner, smarter, and more accessible communities and cities which I want to share with you.

The recipients of the PlanetM COVID-19 Challenge have been announced. We are working with these companies to finalize agreements and launch these innovative solutions.

NextEnergy’s Eric McDonald, Director of Facilities & Infrastructure, attended the virtual 5th Annual Grid Modernization Forum on May 19th. Be sure to check out his blog on the  Five Key Takeaways from the Fifth Annual Grid Modernization Forum. And, there’s no debate, COVID-19 had an immediate impact on transportation and mobility, but will or how will that persist into the future? Tim Slusser, Director of Smart Mobility, explores that in his June blog on The Impacts of COVID-19 on the Future of Mobility.

Stay tuned for updates on these pilots and continue to look for updates on our work and activities via our website and social media channels. Also, please feel free to connect with our team virtually.

Stay safe,

-Jim
