New Electrification Program and mobility corridor Update
Greetings!
I hope all of you are enjoying your first few weeks of fall and are continuing to stay healthy and safe! This month, I wanted to highlight a new vehicle electrification program with some of our key partners in Michigan and provide some updates on our exciting work.
The U.S. Department of Energy has announced more than $7 million in funding for the Dream Team LLC ā a Michigan-based cybersecurity company ā to develop a first-of-its-kind infrastructure that protects the electric grid from cyber attacks on electric vehicles and EV charging systems. NextEnergy is pleased to partner with the Dream Team, DTE Energy, the American Center for Mobility, the University of Michigan-Dearborn, Wayne State University and others for this effort. For future announcements and updates on this critical project, visit our website.
Amanda Roraff ā cofounder of the AV Mobility Corridor Team at Ford Motor Company ā authored a featured article for NextEnergy on the development of the corridor and its importance for Michigan businesses and communities.
Stay tuned for updates on our work and activities via our website and social media platforms. As always, please feel free to connect with our team at info@nextenergy.org.
Stay safe,
-Jim
