LexTM3 has created mobile microgrid technology designed to meter, control, and condition power in remote locations effectively and efficiently. LexTM3’s products optimize power sources including acceptance of solar power directly, without the need for an inverter, and bi-directional connection for charge and discharge of vehicle batteries. Additionally, LexTM3 has created compact controllable smart meter technology modules for the military that have been refined for commercial use.

LexTM3 was founded in 2012 to commercialize technology developed through collaboration between Coritech Services, Inc. and NextEnergy. Through research, development, and demonstration programs, NextEnergy helped to commercialize the mobile microgrid technology by providing a test bed, demonstration facilities, program management for U.S. Department of Defense programs, and equipment. NextEnergy continues to work with LexTM3 on research, development, and demonstration of their microgrid technology as a part of our work with the U.S. Department of Defense. In addition, NextEnergy and LexTM3 are currently collaborating on the development of a microgrid at the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development, and Engineering Center funded through a grant award.
