Jim Saber, President & CEO
Spring is here and NextEnergy is growing! I am excited to share with you that Bill Siddall has joined the team as our Chief Operating Officer. Bill has led groups in private companies in the areas of manufacturing, engineering, product development, as well as planning and business development and sales. Bill is also NextEnergy alumni—he was the Director of Microgrid Projects ten years ago. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. Bill has traveled the world as a naval officer, but was raised in West Michigan and is happy to make Michigan his home.
Please check out a short Q&A with Bill on what he is most looking forward to in his new role and what he sees as the most interesting developments he is seeing today as we move forward in achieving our clean energy future.
I am also excited to share some news about Adastec, an autonomous vehicle technology company that leveraged the Michigan Mobility Funding Platform to develop and deploy their technology on the campus of Michigan State University. This month, Adastec moved their corporate headquarters to the SPARK Innovation Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan!
Later this month, I am looking forward to discussing the outcomes of our EV battery 2nd use and recycling research with Danielle Spalding of Battery Solutions at the EV Battery Recycling & Reuse USA 2022 event.
As always, please stay tuned for updates on our work and activities via our website, social media platforms, and as always please feel free to connect with our team.
