What makes it interesting: This article highlight some recent EV trends. There are a number of good statistics in this article, but two that stand out:

1. Roughly two-thirds (65.3%) of EV-owning households that bought a new car in 2022 got another electric

2. EVs accounted for 5.8% of all new cars registered nationally in July, up from 3.4% a year ago.

Both of these are good news for the growth of EVs.

What makes it interesting: Underestimating start up costs can be one of the main reasons a small business does not succeed. So, giving a good “heads up” on what this may cost is a great idea! While I think this a pretty complete list, each start up cost has several sub costs and processes associated with it, which could be misleading for those who don’t dig deep. I offer only one addition to this article: use contract workers initially instead of directly hiring employees. Payroll taxes are complicated!
