Greetings,
I hope everyone’s summer is off to a great start. It has been an electric start for the NextEnergy and Michigan Clean Cities teams and I want to share our latest wave of new deployments!
This month, Detroit Smart Parking Lab staff announced the winners of the Autonomous Movement Initiative and helped kick off their deployments in the lab. As part of the kickoff, we hosted a Society of Automotive Engineers technical networking event and our own showcase event to introduce technology by Alba Robot, Autowed, Ion Dynamics Energy, and Joule Labs.
The technology solutions will deploy throughout the summer and fall, so if you missed our first event and want to see what they are up to, please reach out to our team, and we will be glad to host you at the lab.The Michigan Clean Cities team helped launch the latest EV carsharing site in Ann Arbor as part of the Affordable Mobility Platform. The Ann Arbor site makes the sixth EV carsharing in Michigan, with two sites in the Kalamazoo area, and three in Detroit.
Cochrane Supply launched their virtual reality technology this month at the Urban Tech Xchange, allowing building operators to see behind the walls of a space to more quickly diagnose and service building systems. Please reach out to us to experience this technology for yourself, and check out an online demonstration here.
As always, we appreciate your support of our work in communities and cities. Stay tuned for updates about our work and activities via our website, LinkedIn, and Instagram, and feel free to connect with our team.
